Okay now…I knew some people are crazy…but THIS???

September 25th, 2007

Check out this dolt that is trying to sue Google who allegedly used his Social Security number to form their company name. Oh yeah, and the Philadelphia 76ers played an indispensable role in disembroiling the code! I think there is something about a $200 Burton snowboard, as an asset, as well. Someone needs to tell him that his “capital” is off by two letters!

Latuh,
Jason

EDIT: I guess it would help if I would give you a link to the story huh? http://www.techcrunch.com/2007/09/21/google-sued-for-crimes-against-humanity/

Pirates of the Caribbean,Energy Drinks,Antebellum Homes,Chickering Pianos out of the 1800′s, I’ve done it all lately!

August 7th, 2007

Hey folksies,
Has it been forever since I have posted on here or what? I can’t believe it has been over a month.

I have been so many places and done so many things. First let me speak of my trip to Alabama for my grandpa’s (my moms dad) surgery. Everything went really well and we got the news back that they had gotten all of the cancer. I had a blast while I was there. My cousins and I went to the lake and swam. I got to stay over at some of my cousins’ house that I usually don’t get to stay at and we had so much fun. I finally got to see Pirates of the Caribbean! YES!! It was awesome! On the last night I was there me and two of my guy cousins played a huge trick on another one of my guy cousins and then we all walked a couple of city blocks away to a conveiniance store and bought energy drinks. Mind you that this was at three o’clock in the morning…lol! To sum it all up I guess I would just say: WE HAD A BLAST!!!!

On the way home, we took a slightly different route than usual. We went through Natchez, Miss. There we met my other grandparents on my dad’s side and the celebrated their 50′th anniversary. We had a really fun time! We took a horse and carriage ride and we toured the old Antebellum homes. In two of the homes I got to play the really old grand pianos that were there. In the Dunleith I believe the one I played was made in 1876 and in the Rosalie the one I played was made in 1846. They were really nice pianos and they sounded great. Both were the Chickering brand. I played a piano in another house but it was not a grand like the others and it was one that they used today for dances and things so it wasn’t old like the other ones. The lady in the Dunleith told me to come back any time and play the one there. I might take her up on the offer sometime! The homes were truly magnificent! We also went to some kind of Indian reservation thing but I was too tired to take the hike down to the little dwelling so I just sat in the car. I wish I would have went now but….OH WELL! It’s too late…lol!

After we got home I worked a week and then we had to start our campmeeting at Fairland Holiness Church. It was a tremendous camp. On what we call the “small nights” it was larger this year but on what we call the “large nights” it was smaller than usual. It was still a very nice camp though. Our choir done pretty good. Nothing outstanding but it was okay. After campmeeting I am back to the grind working. Except that I’m off today…lol. I am thinking about getting a different job than Sam’s because it is not really working out like I need it to. We shall see how it goes this week!

Whew….I know this is a long article but I just had so much to say!

Take care,
 Jason

Can Working Really Be Fun? My Answer Is YES!!!!!!

June 15th, 2007

Hey guys! I know I’m lazy about posting but I have been really busy lately!!!!

I GOT A NEW JOB!!! WOOOOHOOOOO

I’m a cashier at Sam’s Club. I am LOVING it!!! It is one of the best jobs I could ever ask for. It’s not even really that hard! The hardest part is that we have to transfer 100% of the products we sell from one cart to another. Sometimes this can be hectic and a little hard when some people have like 12 or more of those big packs of water. Mind you, WATER is one of the products that I have noticed that comes through alot. Other popular merchandise is cheese, chips, chili, chicken, shorts, and medicine/vitamins. There are probably a whole lot more I’m not thinking about right now. But anywayz….I LOVE IT!!! The pay is not bad either! Our pay scale is based on 1-7 and I’m already a 3. I got two job credits for another job I have so I got to start out with a little higher pay than most people do. So far I have only made one bad mistake and it wasn’t that bad. I forgot to scan some tomatoes…LOL!!! I am almost POSITIVE I scanned them but I think another cashier was right behind me so I could have heard hers beep or something. The lady at the door caught it. But a COS (Check Out Supervisor) told me, the next day, that it didn’t really matter because I was still in training. Actually, today was my third day on a register by myself but it is still considered training I guess so I have about 2 more weeks left that the mistakes won’t count. One thing that I’m glad about is that my IPH (Items per Hour) for yesterday was higher than the top cashiers average for the week. That means if I keep up my IPH that I could become top cashier before long. I’m sure I will at least be posted in the top 5 by next week. That is kinda my goal.

Sorry for my long job ramblings..lol. I’m just so excited!!!! If ya need a job come join our family at Sam’s Club and Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. You will never regret it!

Yours Truly,
 Jason

Getting rid of the old for the new!

May 19th, 2007

Hey guys! I thought it might be time for a little update. Not that you can tell it but I just upgraded this blogs platform, WordPress, to it’s current version 2.2 Getz. If I’m not mistaken it was named after a jazz saxophone player.

I have also decided to give up using ClickMogul.com for this website. ClickMogul has made me some money in the past but I feel like it is time for me to move on to the real way in making money one the web. The real way is through powerful content. Nothing beats good content. I will probably use what credits I have to jumpstart some other websites but I don’t think I’ll use it on this website again. Another reason is so that I can have Google Adsense on here. I have tried other companies but they don’t seem to really work that good.

Now, one thing I don’t believe I’ll ever give up is BlogMad.net. It has tremendously changed the traffic on my website. If you need a lot of traffic and you need it quick, sign up for BlogMad! I promise it will do wonders for you.

Well, sorry if you don’t understand all of my tech talk. As far as my personal life, I’m doing great. I’m fixing to graduate!!! WOO HOO! Seniors of 2007 ROCK!!!!

Later,
 Jason

Another Way to Look at It!!

May 17th, 2007

Consider this:

Regardless of where you stand on the issue of the U. S. involvement in Iraq, here’s a sobering statistic.

There has been a monthly average of 160,000 troops in the Iraq theatre of operations during the last 22 months, and a total of 2,112 deaths. That gives a firearm death rate of 60 per 100,000 soldiers. The firearm death rate in Washington, DC is 80.6 per 100,000 persons for the same period. That means that you are about 25% more likely to be shot and killed in the U.S. Capital than you are in Iraq.

Conclusion: The U.S. should pull out of Washington.
