What’s been going on!!!!!

Posted on June 23rd, 2008 in Job Stuff, Music, News, Normal Stuff by Jason House

WOW!!! It’s been over three months since my last post! I’m so terribly sorry! I have become so busy that I have left everything behind on here! I have a new job at a fast food restaurant and I am Employee of the Month this month!!!! It is going really well!

I’m still trying to do a little music along. I have a show July 12th which will be my first show in awhile. Actually, let me correct that, I’m making a guest appearance on one of my friends shows. I hope to be doing a lot of my own shows in the near future. I have written many songs and hopefully I can get them recorded and get on the run with everything.

I’m sorry that I’m so out of touch with everything but that is the way it goes when you grow up. No, I don’t guess it has to be that way but…..

Well,
TNT (lord knows when that’ll be)

Talk to ya later!

Pirates of the Caribbean,Energy Drinks,Antebellum Homes,Chickering Pianos out of the 1800’s, I’ve done it all lately!

Posted on August 7th, 2007 in Business, Job Stuff, Music, News, Normal Stuff by Jason House

Hey folksies,
Has it been forever since I have posted on here or what? I can’t believe it has been over a month.

I have been so many places and done so many things. First let me speak of my trip to Alabama for my grandpa’s (my moms dad) surgery. Everything went really well and we got the news back that they had gotten all of the cancer. I had a blast while I was there. My cousins and I went to the lake and swam. I got to stay over at some of my cousins’ house that I usually don’t get to stay at and we had so much fun. I finally got to see Pirates of the Caribbean! YES!! It was awesome! On the last night I was there me and two of my guy cousins played a huge trick on another one of my guy cousins and then we all walked a couple of city blocks away to a conveiniance store and bought energy drinks. Mind you that this was at three o’clock in the morning…lol! To sum it all up I guess I would just say: WE HAD A BLAST!!!!

On the way home, we took a slightly different route than usual. We went through Natchez, Miss. There we met my other grandparents on my dad’s side and the celebrated their 50′th anniversary. We had a really fun time! We took a horse and carriage ride and we toured the old Antebellum homes. In two of the homes I got to play the really old grand pianos that were there. In the Dunleith I believe the one I played was made in 1876 and in the Rosalie the one I played was made in 1846. They were really nice pianos and they sounded great. Both were the Chickering brand. I played a piano in another house but it was not a grand like the others and it was one that they used today for dances and things so it wasn’t old like the other ones. The lady in the Dunleith told me to come back any time and play the one there. I might take her up on the offer sometime! The homes were truly magnificent! We also went to some kind of Indian reservation thing but I was too tired to take the hike down to the little dwelling so I just sat in the car. I wish I would have went now but….OH WELL! It’s too late…lol!

After we got home I worked a week and then we had to start our campmeeting at Fairland Holiness Church. It was a tremendous camp. On what we call the “small nights” it was larger this year but on what we call the “large nights” it was smaller than usual. It was still a very nice camp though. Our choir done pretty good. Nothing outstanding but it was okay. After campmeeting I am back to the grind working. Except that I’m off today…lol. I am thinking about getting a different job than Sam’s because it is not really working out like I need it to. We shall see how it goes this week!

Whew….I know this is a long article but I just had so much to say!

Take care,
 Jason

Getting rid of the old for the new!

Posted on May 19th, 2007 in Business, Music, News, Normal Stuff, School, Tech by Jason House

Hey guys! I thought it might be time for a little update. Not that you can tell it but I just upgraded this blogs platform, WordPress, to it’s current version 2.2 Getz. If I’m not mistaken it was named after a jazz saxophone player.

I have also decided to give up using ClickMogul.com for this website. ClickMogul has made me some money in the past but I feel like it is time for me to move on to the real way in making money one the web. The real way is through powerful content. Nothing beats good content. I will probably use what credits I have to jumpstart some other websites but I don’t think I’ll use it on this website again. Another reason is so that I can have Google Adsense on here. I have tried other companies but they don’t seem to really work that good.

Now, one thing I don’t believe I’ll ever give up is BlogMad.net. It has tremendously changed the traffic on my website. If you need a lot of traffic and you need it quick, sign up for BlogMad! I promise it will do wonders for you.

Well, sorry if you don’t understand all of my tech talk. As far as my personal life, I’m doing great. I’m fixing to graduate!!! WOO HOO! Seniors of 2007 ROCK!!!!

Later,
 Jason

Do you think that Prince’s guitar projected onto that sheet looked like a phallus?
Please do not tell me that you think that I’m ‘vulgar’ for talking about a sheet and a phallus!!!!

Come on people! SO WHAT IF IT LOOKED LIKE IT!!!!!!!! All of you that want to gripe about it sure aren’t helping to restrain kids from finding this kind of information. If no one had have ever said anything it would not be such a big deal!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with Rolling Stone’s Edwards said.
“If people want to be hypersensitive, they can be hypersensitive. Those trombones are phallic, too. What are you going to do?

Dick and Rick Hoyt

Posted on November 25th, 2006 in Music, News, Normal Stuff, Videos by Jason House

Dick and Rick Hoyt are a father-and-son team from Massachusetts who together compete just about continuously in marathon races. And if they’re not in a marathon they are in a triathlon — that daunting, almost superhuman, combination of 26.2 miles of running, 112 miles of bicycling, and 2.4 miles of swimming. Together they have climbed mountains, and once trekked 3,735 miles across America. It’s a remarkable record of exertion — all the more so when you consider that Rick can’t walk or talk.

This kind of thing really touches my heart.

New Category - Music

Posted on August 13th, 2006 in Music, Normal Stuff by Jason House

Hello all,

Well, I am releasing a new category, Music. Oh yeah! I know I am so cool.
But you are probably wondering….okay, new category, Music, no posts….whats the deal?????? Well let me explain. I am trying to build up my websites content….so I decided to add the new category. I have not conceived the thoughts yet of exactly what I am going to place under that topic. I thought about giving online “Music Lessons,” But I imagine that my time limit on working on this Internet sort of thing will cut down on me creating and actually publishing those.

Anyway… I guess for right now it will just be a section for articles about music. I am planning on writing an entry about the “Number System.” It’s a very effective way of composing music to be played by persons not knowing how to read music. It is pretty simple to learn the basics of it. If you want to you can even buy a certain piano course that I recommend for in depth study. We will get into this later.

Keep visiting this website and waiting for the new exciting category of “Music” to be filled with articles, posts, and even your own comments if you need help with anything!
