Virginia Tech Tragedy - Is it our fault?

Posted on April 19th, 2007 in News, Normal Stuff, Politics by Jason House

Greetings,
My heart is stricken for the families of the victims of the Virginia Tech massacre. I can’t even imagine the grief that has befallen them. Most of the students were so young, ready to start fulfilling their lives’ dreams in such a short time. The professors were getting closer to the end of their career and heading for retirement, day by day. Oh,what a terrible tragedy! The acts of Cho are so treacherous! I can’t even begin to think about committing even one of the 33 murders that he did. How can you take an innocent persons life and just snatch it out from under them? On the other hand, is Cho to blame for this? I mean, he’s only probably never been taught “Thou Shalt not Kill.” Maybe he has been taught, but how can anyone expect him to believe that is a fact when he sees people doing it all the time on TV and video games? When will America wake and see that we need to get God and prayer back into the schools? When I say God, I do not mean ALLAH or Mohammad. I mean, JESUS CHRIST, the one and ONLY! America was not founded on ‘Islam’ and it shall not prosper on it either. If you don’t like it, move out of the country! That’s a sophisticated statement for the redneck language “pack yo’ bags an’ get outta heuh!”

My prayers are with every victim’s family!

God Bless America,
 Jason

Nailgun injuries a’soarin!

Posted on April 15th, 2007 in News, Normal Stuff by Jason House

Nailgun injuries soar among U.S. weekend warriors.<-Click Here

“Since 1991, nailgun injuries have risen about 200 percent, the CDC said in its weekly report on death and disease.”

Wow! I think this is amazing! My grandpa and my dad are construction workers and they use nailguns all the time and have been injured a few times. One time my grandpa somehow shot my dad in the leg. They have tried to get me to be a carpenter but I don’t wont to have anything to do with that kind of work.

My Political Guns’ a gettin’ fired up!

Posted on April 14th, 2007 in Normal Stuff, Politics by Jason House

Whew! It seems like everything that has been going on has been slowing
me down. Anybody that knows me very well, knows that I am a very
politically informed person. I have always been up to date on
everything about issues and so on and so forth. Lately, with me trying
to graduate, take senior pictures, and everything else in between, I
have not been able to keep up with everything.

My guns are starting to get fired up though! I am fixing to start
researching everything and staying more informed like I used to. In the
last election I was a poll watcher. It was a very interesting
experience! To prove that a true statement, I was setting there and (of
course poll watchers can’t talk to any voters) my Aunt came in. She had
already been informed by one of the poll workers that I couldn’t speak
with her. She comes over to me and puts her arms around me and says
something and I just had to look at her. Finally, she says “okay” and
just walks away.

As far as issues go, if you know me, you know how I believe. The main
thing we need to concentrate on right now is getting Barack Obama OFF
OF THE CAMPAIGN. Hillary is horrible, yes, but Barack is insane! For
starters, he is a Muslim, or Moslem, however you spell that
dreaded word. Second, he is a piece of demoncrap! We do not need a
Democrat prez but we DEFINITELY do not want a Muslim.

Forever and Young Republican,

 Jason

Can we really make money from…?

Posted on April 6th, 2007 in Business, Normal Stuff, Tech by Jason House

Can we REALLY make money from these little survey companies? The answer to this question is very unclear to me. I have signed up for places like CashCrate.com and PandaResearch.com
I have completed a few offers and they drive me crazy. It seems like any service that I sign up for would send me something that I would have to unsubscribe from or something. I think I am going to give up on these kind of things until I can find weed through some more information.

Just a lil note.

Mozilla To Build Social Networking Into FireFox: Bad News For Flock

Here is the comment I left on the article.

Well,
I haven’t completely made up my mind on this issue. I believe it will definitely be an enhancement to the social networking world. Sometimes I fill as if I am just plum sick of all this social network crap though. On the other hand I love some social networks. I don’t believe I could live without MySpace because it has helped me find a lot of childhood friends and missing family. What I try to do is be centralized. Just join up with two or three networks and if my friends really want to be ’social’ with me, then they will join the network I am on. If they don’t like it they just have to hack it. After all, this is ‘MYspace’ not ‘myFRIENDSspace.’ Take it from the name…stay in your own little ’space.’ IMHO…if friends are really true friends, then they will want to come where you are. What I am basically saying is….be the leader of your own life. Don’t let others lead you around by the nose. Now that’s hard for some people but ‘leadership’ is my type of personality.

I seem to lean toward the opinion that FireFox needs to fix the memory issues before they go to adding a lot of stuff to it. Like some said, I don’t want this ‘Coop’ thing to be mandantory. Now I don’t mind if they have all the little options installed on the options box and maybe a checkbox that says ‘Enable The Coop.’ Notice that I said ‘LITTLE,’ that means….everywhere that you turn and look it doesn’t need to say ‘enter your MySpace ID,’ or ‘Sign up for The Coop.’

I say keep it in a nice centralized place and add the ability for users to turn in on and off. Most of all, DO NOT ‘COOP’ us up with monetizing ads!!!! We do not want to be little clickin’ chickens….so stay away from the idea of heavy monetizing!!!!!!

Jason

Let me know what yaw think, FireFox users. If you don’t have FireFox, you need to get it. You can get the latest version by clicking on this button.

We have added several more million dollars to the charity fund and the founder, Andres Kello, has decided to move his share of the money way down in order to give more to charity.

Once again, check it out by clicking here. The Record Breaking Domain.

Thanks,
