“A” is for Apple

“Can you help me go pick some apples?” my grandpa said. Even though I was in the middle of doing stuff on the comp, I told him yeah. It proved to be something I could make a creative blog post about also!

What is an apple? It is “the usually round, red or yellow, edible fruit of a small tree, Malus sylvestris, of the rose family.” -Quoted from dictionary.com -click for more info. I’m sure there are many kinds of apples but I won’t get into that right now….maybe you could find some more information in the apple entry on Wikipedia. Apples will keep your family healthy…as the old saying goes, “An apple a day, will keep the doctor away.” You can find out more about the health benefits here: http://www.bestapples.com/healthy/index.html.

Now apples in the tech world are a different story! You can go to www.apple.com to find out about iPods and all that kind of sort of thing. They even have a cool looking red one on the home page. My cousin told me that she got one for her birthday and that she is really enjoying it! I wish I could afford one. Maybe someday though!

Here is something just for the kids……ever heard of LarryBoy & the Bad Apple? It is an awesome kids DVD from VeggieTales. Check it out here: LarryBoy & the Bad Apple DVD- Only $14.99!

Well I guess that about sums it up on apples…..

Till next time,
Jason R. House
